Bae Ji-hwan started as the number one hitter and second baseman in the 2024 American Professional Baseball Major League exhibition game against the Minnesota Twins of the 2024 American Professional Baseball Major League held at the Lee Els Sports Complex in Fort Myers, Florida on the 25th (Korean time), and went 0-hit in 3 at-bats.
Bae Ji-hwan, who was the top hitter in the team’s first exhibition game of the year, struck out in the top of the first inning after missing his bat on a 158 km/h fast ball from Minnesota right-handed starter Louis Balland.
In his second at-bat in the third inning, he targeted Justin Topa’s slider, but it was caught as a fly ball to left field.
